A Community-Driven Plan for Upper Arlington’s Future

The Upper Arlington 2026 Master Plan will establish a collaborative, community-driven vision to guide the City’s growth, investment, and decision-making in the years ahead. Developed alongside updates to the Parks & Recreation Plan and Urban Forestry strategy, the plan will identify priorities, shape future land use, and outline clear strategies to strengthen neighborhoods, enhance quality of life, and support a resilient future.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Parks and Recreation Survey, completed the Community Master Plan Survey, attended the first Community Open House, or connected with the Master Plan team at one of the community pop-up events. Your input is an important part of the planning process and will help shape the future of Upper Arlington.

What’s Next?

Through the winter months, the planning team and Master Plan Steering Committee will bring the technical analysis and community input together to begin developing the Master Plan framework, including the vision, core values, and strategies that will guide the next chapter of Upper Arlington.

Then, in spring 2027, we’ll come back to the community to share what we’ve developed, continue the conversation, and make sure the emerging plan reflects both what we’ve learned and where Upper Arlington wants to go.
